Just so you all know...
...I finished the book yesterday!! Sorry. I couldn't stop. Apparently the 2nd times a charm with this one :). I can't wait to have a discussion with you all! No rush though. Francine Rivers is definitely a different writer than Ms. Kingsbury. I will say that much. I feel as though I thoroughly enjoy and can appreciate the differences in Christian writers. I don't want to give anything away, so I won't say anymore than that.

Well I am around page 175 (in the long version). I need to get going with it b/c I think it's due this week, but I will have to renew it. I'm not sure if we are the only ones reading it right now or not. Julz and Lindsay have been a little MIA lately. Hope you all have a great week!!

Don't worry, I'm going back to Baltimore ( :( )on Thursday and should be able to read from about 8-5 when I get there. haha And, just a side note, we will be home the week after Easter (April 4-10) so if you guys want to wait to meet til that week I could be here!!!!!!!! But don't wait just for me :)

Well crap, Sheryl...I will be in Florida that week in April! I'm not totally sure what time we are coming back, so I might still be available. If not, you guys can meet without me...sad. No worries though! I hope you have a safe trip back to Baltimore!

I'm on chapter 14! I don't want to say too much about it because someone I know hasn't started yet.
ReplyDeleteI will say that this story is not quite what I thought it would be. I really like it but I'm surprised that the story is developing the way it is.
