I finished the book at about 1:30am this morning!! I am not going to leave any specific comments or hints as to how it ends...sorry Sheryl. I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I'm not even going to say whether I thought the end result was enjoyable, expected or lacking. We will just have to discuss details when we meet :). Like I mentioned before, I LOVE to read and I fit it in even when I don't have the time! So, if you haven't finished the book before we have our first Binding Book Club gathering, don't fret. I promise I won't give anything away...you have my word.
I can't wait to see you all next week! When are we getting together, by the way?

I have about 5 chapters left, and can't wait to finish. Those of us who have it done by next week, can huddle in the bathroom and converse quietly over the end result. :) And, yes, let's get a day set for this book club next week!! Amanda, I loved that poem, and I really loved that forward you sent the other day about sisters. I thought of all of you while reading it. We are all so lucky to have each other and be friends!!! I hope that we are typing on this blog when we are 70 years old. Love you all!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! You're done! That is great. Karla, Julie, and I went to see Valentine's day last night, which was good, and we were discussing when to meet. If everyone can finish by next week or the week after maybe we should wait to meet. I think Karla said Monday night wouldn't work for her. Anyway, let's just keep discussing this.
